Jon Karl Dawson- "Lemonade y Libations"
This show by Dawson, a west Texas glass artist, will be composed of all new work, his first exhibit in more than four years. Dawson paints small easeled canvases and stemware with French enameled scences of skeletons feasting, celebrating and living death to it's fullest.Dawson is well recognized for his designs and uses of colors. Jon Karl explores his love for San Antonio's unique sensibility and references his up bringing in the raw West Texas small town culture.
