 San Angel's New Features: 
Haitian Voodoo Banners: Voodoo or Drapo banners that depecting veve, the intricate symbols of the gods (or Loa) created by priest and flollowers, these banners are briliantly- colored mosaics of literally thousands of sequins and beads sewn onto satin and oftien trimmed in velvet. The works in this exhibit give us a window into the daily lives of the Haitian people giving great joy and hope amongst some of the worlds most difficult modern day problems and exemplify their will to survive and thrive in difficult times.
