- “ Autumn Landscape ”
Famed New Mexico landscape
painter Joel Greene sees, paints, and, in the process,
reveals a rural landscape both imagined and experienced by
many, but capably depicted by few others. Greene’s
landscapes are sensuous, shape-filled embodiments of the
symphonic vistas and skies, the sanguine red-sand arroyos
and mesas, the verdant grasslands and elegant pinones that
make the high plains desert a place treasured by so many. In
his South Texas premiere, Greene presents paintings that
transport the viewer to Tent Rock, Red Ridge, Galisteo
plains, the Acoma Pueblo ridge, and Hogback Ridge.
